Defying trends, East Lansing-based BIGGBY® COFFEE set to expand by 100 stores

For a few weeks at the start of the pandemic, the situation for East Lansing-based BIGGBY® COFFEE looked bleak, as it did for thousands of large and small businesses. But the coffee retailer’s fortunes turned around quickly as safety protocols were implemented and locations began to reopen. By May, the company was seeing positive sales again.

Now, a year after the start of the pandemic, BIGGBY® is set to expand by around 100 locations within the next 15 months, growing the company’s store count by over 30%.
