BIGGBY® COFFEE Launching Nitro Coffee in Select Locations
Sparta, MI, June 9, 2017 – BIGGBY® COFFEE is excited to announce that a handful of locations in the West Michigan area are offering Nitro Coffee. There are two cafes in Caledonia (6426 100th St SE) and Sparta (275 S State St NW) that currently have it on tap. The Ludington, Fremont, Whitehall, Wayland, and Kraft Ave BIGGBY® locations will also follow before mid-June. These locations are owned by Mike Brann Jr. and operated in partnership with Kyle Wohlgemuth.
Nitro Coffee is cold-brew coffee infused with nitrogen gas and poured from a tap, which creates a creamy, stout-like effect. Many people enjoy this beverage over ice, so it’s a perfect choice for the hot summer months. With the customizable offerings at BIGGBY®, you can add syrups and sauces, milk, or just order your Nitro Coffee straight.
Mike and Kyle were both eager to add Nitro Coffee to their locations and happy to invest in the additional equipment required. “We know that our customer base will really enjoy Nitro Coffee and as soon as we were able to, we jumped on this opportunity,” said Mike. “We worked with Prospectors Coffee and Quality Draft Systems, which are both Grand Rapids companies, as well as Paramount Coffee and the BIGGBY® COFFEE Home Office. 4 Michigan-based companies helped lead the charge of Nitro Coffee within our system,” he continued. “There is an awesome beer-like mouthfeel with coffee poured from a tap, which gets the ‘Beer City, USA’ population excited,” added Kyle.
