BIGGBY^® COFFEE is Opening a Brand New Location in Spring Arbor, Michigan!

Spring Arbor, MI, May 2, 2016 – BIGGBY^® COFFEE is excited to announce the Grand Opening of a brand new store in Spring Arbor, MI on Tuesday, May 3, 2016! This new store is located near Dearing Rd and M-60, inside the Village Crossing right on M-60 (7851 Spring Arbor Rd, Spring Arbor, MI 49283). This will be the first location for BIGGBY^® owner/operators Gerry and Lynsay Lobdell and Mike and Jessica Perry! They can’t wait to bring BIGGBY^® to Spring Arbor and meet lots of new friends along the way!

When asked why they chose to open a BIGGBY^®, Gerry had a really great story to tell! “Mike and I have been friends since we were three years old.  We were each other’s best man in our weddings. We have always dreamed of owning a business together. We did a lot of research on many different companies and were sold on the BIGGBY^® Discovery Day presentation when we attended. My aunt and uncle also own a BIGGBY^® so that helped in our decision making as well. We love the fun, energetic atmosphere and how we can connect to the community through our store! It’s just a great fit!”

Gerry and Jessica will both be behind the line making drinks on a regular basis acting as the store managers. “We plan to fold in shift leaders as we see our baristas excel in the first few weeks!” The Spring Arbor team is also very excited about establishing their new customer base and getting to know their regulars. “We are looking forward to getting to know our staff better and having fun each day while selling great coffee!” Gerry and Jessica both attended Spring Arbor University so they know a lot of people in the area. “We plan to be involved as much as we can with the community. Our first plan is to be in the Memorial Day parade we are very excited for this!”

Stop in and help Gerry, Mike, Jessica, and Lynsay celebrate the Grand Opening of their new BIGGBY^® store! They will be open Monday through Saturday 6:00 am to 9:00 pm and Sunday 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. If you’re a new customer, or already a fanatic, Gerry would like to offer up a drink suggestion when you visit them in Spring Arbor. “If I had to pick one drink to suggest, it would be the Neapolitan Latte. It’s really delicious and gets people outside of their coffee comfort zone!”

BIGGBY^® COFFEE, East Lansing, Mich.-based, was started with a single store on March 15, 1995. One year later, and on the cusp of opening a second location, Bob Fish and his business partner Michael McFall, on a handshake and $3,000, decided to franchise the concept.
