BIGGBY® COFFEE in New Hudson, MI and Desert Angel Join Forces to Send Care Packages to Deployed Troops

East Lansing, MI, November 8, 2018– For the month of November, BIGGBY® COFFEE New Hudson has partnered with Desert Angel, a non-profit organization whose mission is to send care packages to deployed military serving in war zones. Karissa Canfield, BIGGBY® Owner/Operator, is so excited to be working with Desert Angel for a second year and hopes to send at least 200 care packages by the end of November! “We will be asking customers to send a bag of BIGGBY® coffee to troops and for every bag they send, BIGGBY® New Hudson AND Desert Angel will match their donation! This means for every bag you donate, a deployed soldier will receive three bags of BIGGBY® coffee!” says Karissa.

BIGGBY® New Hudson is off to a great start, already raising over 20 donations (more than 60 total bags of coffee) within the first week of November. After you’ve donated and are waiting for your drink, you can visit the letter writing station to jot down a few words of thanks, encouragement, and love to include in the ‘Miracle Box’ the troops will open. The Miracle Box will contain these letters or cards, donated coffee, as well as stockings filled with snacks and such.
