Westland BIGGBY® COFFEE Location Donating 50% of Morning Sales to Funeral Costs
Westland, MI, November 1, 2016– The Westland BIGGBY® COFFEE location will be hosting a fundraiser on Wednesday, November 2nd 2016 to help support a local family who recently lost their young son. “Our involvement in the community is oftentimes a very fun and joyous occasion. In other instances, it's brought on by tragedy and unfortunately, this is one of those times,” said Owner/Operator Mo Elfakir. “We're looking to help the family of Gage Carter, a ten year-old boy whose life was lost while chasing after his dog. This Wednesday morning, we will be donating 50% of our morning sales to the Carter family to help with the cost of their son’s untimely funeral. Additional donations will be accepted in-store as well,” said Mo.

Mo and his team are hoping to cover as much of the funeral cost as possible to take the burden off of the Carter family so they can focus on family during this difficult time. “Please join us this Wednesday between 5:00 AM and 12:00 PM to do all that we can for this family.”
