Salute to a local coffee chain

In the category of being proud of mid-Michigan accomplishments, the Biggby's coffee chain recently made the Entrepreneur magazine's "Franchise 500" list as number 225, up 34 spots from a year ago.

 

The chain, founded in East Lansing under the name of Beaner's, changed its name last year.

 

It's always good to see a hometown company's success.
