Full Circle - The Farmers of the El Recreo Coffee Estate in Jinotega, Nicaragua visit BIGGBY® COFFEE

You've heard of coffee fanatics taking origin trips to farms, but have you ever heard of a coffee farmer taking an origin trip to their customer? Most coffee farmers that sell on the spot market have no idea where their coffee ends up, or how it's treated. BIGGBY COFFEE's Farm-Direct relationship with the El Recreo Coffee Estate in Jinotega, Nicaragua transforms that paradigm. Together, we've forged a strong, deep connection between coffee farmer and cafe. Miriam and Hector Morales, daughter and son-in-law of the Farmers, Carlos and Leanna Ferrey, bring the Farm-Direct story full circle, as they describe the Farm and how our relationship impacts the lives of everyone involved in the chain.
