FOUR TOLEDO-AREA BIGGBY COFFEE STORES CELEBRATE BUSINESS MILESTONE
Company thanks customers and community for 10 years of successful business
TOLEDO, OH. March 26, 2012 – Four local BIGGBY COFFEE stores are celebrating a decade of business in the Toledo-area this year and couldn’t B- happier about it! Ten years ago in early 2002, the East Lansing, Mich. based BIGGBY COFFEE found its home away from home in the Toledo market and wants to say thank you to everyone who has supported them along the way!
BIGGBY on Madison Ave. in Toledo and on N. McCord Rd. in Sylvania were some of the first stores to open outside of Michigan and celebrated their tenth birthdays in January. Less than a month later, BIGGBY on Markway in Toledo and on Dixie Hwy. in nearby Perrysburg, also surpassed a decade of business in their respected communities.
“It has been very exciting to see all these stores grow and really develop a strong customer base each unique to their individual locations”, Trishelle Suess, regional store manager said. “Whether it’s the educational population, including students and teachers, or a more residential or commercial area, we have found a way to connect with each of these customer bases successfully.”
By focusing on customer service and community engagement, Trishelle said it has become her staff’s goal to make sure each and every customer leaves the store in a better mood than when they arrived. “By putting smiles on their faces and by providing them with a constantly delicious beverage, things have more or less fallen into place for us – it’s really been an awesome experience to be a part of.”
BIGGBY, who recently celebrated their 17 anniversary as a company, now has more than 120 locations open in the Midwest and beyond. After purchasing the local Sufficient Grounds coffee shops, BIGGBY quickly expanded and currently has 10 locations in the state of Ohio. Bob Fish, company CEO and co-founder, said if it wasn’t for the welcoming and accepting residents of Ohio, BIGGBY would not be where it is today.
“We are thankful to everyone who gave us a chance and really welcomed us with open arms,” Fish said. “By becoming involved in the area and creating a coffee shop experience unlike any other out there, we were able to find our niche in these communities and turn area residents into lifetime fanatics.”
