Biggby's Coffee offers free items while Starbucks is closed for retraining

Michigan-based Biggby's will give away coffee tonight, while Starbucks stores nationwide close for employee retraining.

 

Starbucks says says it wants to "reinvigorate the passion for espresso" among its workers. Stores will close from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

 

Stores with evening hours will reopen after that.

 

The Starbucks on Alpine Avenue in Walker says it will take orders starting at 9 p.m.

 

Biggby's says it will offer its entire menu for free while Starbucks is closed.
