BIGGBY COFFEE PICKS WINNER IN FIRST ANNUAL PHOTO CONTEST

EAST LANSING, Mich., June 22, 2010 – Everyone loves a cute Labrador retriever puppy, particularly when he’s gnawing innocently on the top end of a BIGGBY COFFEE cup. That’s precisely the image submitted by Suzette and Dave Carrier of Mount Pleasant, S.C., that netted the Grand Prize in the first annual BIGGBY COFFEE Photo Contest. The Carriers have won a $1,000 gift card redeemable at any of BIGGBY COFFEE’s 109 locations or online at biggby.com.

BIGGBY COFFEE’s B-Happy Lounge (www.bhappylounge.com) is a portal to all things fun, including barista profiles, merchandise swag, blog posts from company founder Bob Fish, and, of course, the new BIGGBY COFFEE Photo Contest.
To enter the contest, fans of the “Big Orange ‘B’” can simply visit “The Lounge” to upload photos of their travels, family, pets or surroundings with the only caveat being that the image must include a BIGGBY COFFEE cup. The photos are judged by a panel of “expert” judges for creativity (and cuteness, obviously) before winners are chosen. In addition to the annual Grand Prize, monthly winners will receive $100 gift cards.
Fans can enter as many times as they wish, but strong creativity is encouraged, and only PG-rated images are allowed.
