BIGGBY COFFEE Opens New Location in Fenton

Fenton, Mich., May 5, 2008 – Lansing Mich.-based coffee retailer, BIGGBY COFFEE, will celebrate the opening of a new location in Fenton on Tuesday. The store, located 4009 Owen Road, will open for business at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6 and offer free brewed coffee through Sunday to celebrate the occasion.
The Fenton location will be the 92nd location for the East Lansing-based coffee retailer. BIGGBY COFFEE currently operates stores in nine states. It has an additional 75 stores under development that will open in the next 24 months across the U.S.
The Fenton location of BIGGBY COFFEE is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. It is the first franchise for BIGGBY COFFEE loyalist Laurin Hunt.
“I had an established 15- year career before I began working as a barista for a Lansing BIGGBY as a fun way to earn some extra income,” said owner Laurin Hunt. “Before I knew it, I moved up to become store leader and figured out that the BIGGBY business model was something I was willing to really invest in. When I was looking for a place to open my own store, I came across Fenton and realized how beautiful this community really is; I believe I have found a perfect location.”
BIGGBY COFFEE combines its signature coffee drinks with free wireless internet access and plentiful soft seating—all standard options that will be part of the Fenton store.
The new store will bring nearly 20 new full and part-time jobs to Fenton.
