Lima BIGGBY store win Store of the Year at BIGGBY COFFEE’s Annual Franchise Meeting
EAST LANSING, Mich. Aug. 26, 2013 – Congratulations goes out to the Lima BIGGBY COFFEE for winning Store of the Year. The BIGGBY Store of the Year award is based on customer nominations, in which one BIGGBY location from every market is selected as a finalist. Based on customer’s reviews of the store, along with the total number of votes, BIGGBY of Lima was recognized as the overall winner of the award.
Peggy Rector, store owner, was ecstatic and surprised when she was called to the stage. She was caught off guard as a cheering crowd welcomed her to the front of the room.
"I was not expecting the award at all. My staff works very hard at making sure every customer leaves the store in a better mood than which they came. All of our hard work pays off! I love my staff, I love my customers and I love BIGGBY!” said Rector.
The award was named in honor of BIGGBY‘s Co-founder, Mary Roszel. Roszel presented the award to Rector during the Annual Franchise Meeting BIGGBY COFFEE hosts every year. BIGGBY franchisees and baristas are invited to attend the three-day event. During this time, sessions are held to inform store owners of new products, technology, strategies, etc. The event brings individuals together to share experiences and learn the BIGGBY culture.
