BIGGBY® COFFEE is Opening a Brand New Location in Burton, Michigan!
Burton, MI, March 28, 2016–BIGGBY® COFFEE is excited to announce the Grand Opening of a brand new store in Burton, MI on Tuesday, March 29, 2016! This brand new store is located at South Center Road across from Meijer (2458 S Center Rd Burton, MI 48519). This will be the fourth location for BIGGBY®owner/operator Paula Thompson! Paula and her staff can’t wait to greet the Burton community with warm smiles and amazing drinks. “I am most excited about becoming a location in Burton that welcomes friends and families—to be a safe place to visit. We have already met so many people who are excited for us to be opening a store in Burton but we are just as excited to make new friends!”
Paula and her family are no stranger to BIGGBY® COFFEE and says that their decision to expand was an easy one. “After winning the BIG B Cup—a highly-touted annual BIGGBY® award—in 2015, my husband Mark and I decided we wanted to expand from 3 to 4 and maybe 5 stores. I have loved owning my own business. It affords me the opportunity to choose my hours and keep my children Ryder (11) and Autumn (9) priorities. I love working with young leaders and building them up with responsibility, people skills, management skills, and opportunities for the future. And last but not least, I love being a place in the community that welcomes all ages, brings family and friends together, and gives back to the community!” Paula has empowered her baristas and managers to strive for growth in her stores and has a very strong team at each location! “Erica and Jacob will be managing the new Burton store. They were both assistant managers in our other stores and leaped at the opportunity to manage their own store! They are dynamic, fun, responsible, and energetic. I am so excited to see the Burton BIGGBY® become a community staple under their leadership.”

They will be open Monday through Saturday 6:00 am to 9:00 pm and Sunday 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. If you’re a new customer, or already a fanatic, Paula would like to offer up a couple of her favorites as a suggestion. “I would recommend a German Mocha Latte, hot, iced or frozen, to a new customer. And of course, there’s always the infamous BIGGBY® favorite—the Caramel Marvel!”
BIGGBY® COFFEE, East Lansing, Mich.-based, was started with a single store on March 15, 1995. One year later, and on the cusp of opening a second location, Bob Fish and his business partner Michael McFall, on a handshake and $3,000, decided to franchise the concept.
