BIGGBY^® COFFEE is Opening a Brand New Location in Cedar Springs, MI!

Cedar Springs, MI, January 9, 2017–BIGGBY^® COFFEE is excited to announce the Grand Opening of a new store in Cedar Springs, MI on Tuesday, January, 10 2017! This brand new store is located just north of 17 Mile Rd, in the strip mall behind KFC (14111 White Creek Ave. N.E. Cedar Springs, MI  49319). This will be the first BIGGBY^® location for Bob and Deb Garza!

“As a frequent customer at another BIGGBY^® store, I was very familiar with the brand. My friend and I would meet for coffee and catch up regularly.  We always wished we had a BIGGBY^® closer to home. That prompted us to explore the option and we attended a Discovery Day,” said Deb. “That was my first introduction and I knew it was something I wanted to do. While opening a BIGGBY^® with my friend wasn’t in the cards, the opportunity presented itself with my husband a little later on,” she continued. Bob was in a different career path that had him longing for more. That’s when they decided to explore small business ownership! “While corporate life provided a comfortable living, it wasn’t for me and that is when we revisited franchising with BIGGBY^®,” said Bob. Deb will continue to work full-time job to allow Bob to act as owner/operator for their BIGGBY^® store and pursue their shared dream of business ownership!

When we asked Bob and Deb what they were most excited about, they were very focused on their Cedar Springs residents! “The opportunity to bring an awesome coffee shop and jobs to the Cedar Springs community is very exciting for us! I also commute to work very early in the morning and now I can have a great cup of coffee on my way in to start my day off right,” Deb shared excitedly. Bob will be running the day-to-day at the store with Deb’s support. “We will have two managers in training so Bob can scope out sites for more BIGGBY^® locations! We are always looking to grow our business!” They’re also very excited to work with local organizations and be involved as much as possible. “Our store has already been involved in the community – even before build out! We are supporting the athletic boosters through a donation as BIGGBY^®, we have sponsored a table at the annual wild game dinner fundraiser, and participated in a coupon fundraiser for the middle and high school cheer teams. We want to give back to a community that has enriched our family for many years,” said Deb.

Stop in and help the Cedar Springs team celebrate the Grand Opening of their new BIGGBY^® store! They will be open Monday-Saturday 5:00 AM-8:00 PM and on Sunday from 6:00 AM-8:00 PM. Deb would like to offer up a drink suggestion when you visit the new store. “The Teddy Bear Latte is my daily go-to! I also love the frozen Banana Bread Creme Freeze – chai with banana!”
