BIGGBY COFFEE in Flint, Davison, and Fenton

Familiar in the Midwest but new in the Flint area, Biggby Coffee is moving into the area.
With locations opening in Flint, Davison and Fenton, the Biggby Coffee franchise, formerly known as Beaner's Coffee, is looking to bring in something different from Starbucks and Tim Hortons.
The franchise primarily sells espresso-based beverages, said Mike McFall, president of Biggby Coffee.
"We differentiate ourselves primarily through the product," McFall said. "We cater to a Midwestern profile, so it's substantially smoother than, say, the Starbucks brand, and we do it in a way that's much more light-hearted and friendlier than Starbucks."
The company has begun hiring in Fenton, while the Davison location is being constructed with construction on the Flint location to begin soon, McFall said.
The Fenton location, 4009 Fenton Road, will open Tuesday, with Davison, 1133 State Road, and Flint, 641 S. Saginaw St., locations tentatively scheduled to open in July, said Austin Long, project coordinator for Biggby Coffee
