It’s an honor that you’re considering joining the BIGGBY® family as a franchise owner.
When I speak with potential franchise owners, there’s one quality that matters more than anything else to me: a people‑first orientation. In plain terms… do people genuinely bring you joy?
If you look at our most successful franchise owners, they’ll all tell you the same thing: their favorite part of the business is the people. It’s the baristas in their stores, the customers who walk through the door every day, and the members of the community they get to connect with as local business owners. People are everything in this business. If that doesn’t light you up, this might not be the right franchise for you.
Another way to say it is this: if your first question is, “So how much money am I going to make?” then we’re probably not values‑aligned. Money and profit matter, of course, but they’re outcomes. The way you get there is through a real love and appreciation for the people who make up your business.
Are you willing to obsess over the experience every employee, every customer, and every community member has when they interact with you and your store? Are you excited about the idea of making every customer fall in love with the brand and your team?
