Give BIGG for Texas Event Raised Over $21,000 for Relief Efforts
East Lansing, MI, October 23, 2017- The American Red Cross will be visiting the BIGGBY® COFFEE Home Office in East Lansing, MI on Wednesday October 25 for a BIGG moment. Thanks to fanatics across 90+ stores, over $21,000 was raised for hurricane relief efforts back in September during the Give BIGG for Texas event. These funds will be going directly to the American Red Cross’s rebuilding efforts across Texas. Representatives from the American Red Cross will be on hand to accept the donation from BIGGBY® COFFEE representatives, including members of the Home Office, Owner/Operator Meghan Atkinson who helped organize the event, and other members of BIGGBY® Nation. The presentation is planned for 12:30 PM.
BIGGBY® COFFEE, East Lansing, Mich.-based, was started with a single store on March 15, 1995. One year later, and on the cusp of opening a second location, Michael McFall and Bob Fish, on a handshake and $4,000, decided to franchise the concept.
