BIGGBY® COFFEE OPENED TWO NEW LOCATIONS IN BATTLE CREEK, MARKING SEVEN STORES IN THE COMMUNITY

East Lansing, MI, July 16, 2019–Michigan-based BIGGBY® COFFEE is excited to announce the opening of two new locations, marking a total of seven stores in Battle Creek, Michigan. The two new Battle Creek locations advance the company’s mission to expand its brand while providing premier service to customers while creating unique experiences through an unintimidating atmosphere, energetic baristas, and an inclusive community. With the addition of these two new stores, BIGGBY® COFFEE, known as the friendly coffee community, now has 194 stores in Michigan, and 44 more in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Florida.

The BIGGBY® COFFEE located at 1395 Capital Ave NE is the third location for owner Charles Solano. The store opened on June 20 and is a B Cubed, drive-up only location, designed to be a quick and convenient way to grab and go with BIGGBY® COFFEE favorites. The new location will employee approximately 12 area residents.
Solano, a frequent customer as an undergrad student, left a 14-year profession to open his first BIGGBY® COFFEE location. “I one hundred percent believe in the brand, leaders, company, and vision of BIGGBY® COFFEE,” said Solano. “I’m extremely excited to bring another location to Battle Creek, and even more pleased that it is the second B Cubed location in the BIGGBY® COFFEE family.”

The BIGGBY® COFFEE planned as part of the McCamly Plaza Hotel revitalization is located at 35 Jackson Rd opened June 18. The location is the second BIGGBY® COFFEE location to owners, Matt and Jody Lemmer and part of the regrowth of Battle Creek’s downtown district. Adding 19 jobs, the store will be the first location inside a hotel. Customers can access BIGGBY® COFFEE from inside the hotel, as well as on the plaza near Jackson Street. Part of a multi-million-dollar hotel renovation, the Lemmer’s are excited to be a part of this bustling change in Battle Creek.
