BIGGBY COFFEE EXPANDS, OPENS FIRST NEW HUDSON LOCATION

Location will open Tuesday, Nov. 4th, offering drink specials for everyone!

EAST LANSING, MI., Oct. 24, 2014 – BIGGBY COFFEE fanatics are rejoicing in New Hudson, Mich. as the world’s best coffee company gets ready to open the area’s first location on Tuesday, Nov. 4! The store will be located at 30771 Milford Rd., and will feature a different drink special each day during its opening week.

“New Hudson has waited way too long for their own BIGGBY, and I’m very excited to be opening there next week,” Karissa Canfield, store owner said. “I want to put the happy in everyone’s day! When you serve the best tasting coffee around, while having fun, people can’t help but be excited to see you!”

The store will be located off of I-96, exit 155 and will be in the first plaza south of the freeway. During opening week, the store will offer numerous drink specials that customers can enjoy. Plus they can pick up additional coupons to come back and try different drinks throughout the week!

“I’m thrilled about opening, the community has already shown great support and I can’t wait to exceed their expectations,” Karissa said. “I love that BIGGBY focuses on giving back to the community. I’ve been a girl scout leader, coached many different youth sports, and volunteered through schools and the humane society. Because of my interest in giving back to the community, I hope to participate in many community events and have the opportunity to work with many groups in the New Hudson area.”

Karissa Canfield will run the store with the support of her husband and daughter. The New Hudson location will be open Monday- Saturday 6 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. The store will feature free Wi-Fi, and the full BIGGBY COFFEE menu, including the ever-popular seasonal Peppermint Stick Mocha and other favorites.

“I plan to make the grand opening very GRAND and hope you will come help me celebrate.” A ribbon cutting ceremony will help kick off the opening at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, November 3rd at the store. Come join in the fun!

About BIGGBY COFFEE® East Lansing, Mich.-based BIGGBY® COFFEE was started with a single store on March 15, 1995. One year later, and on the cusp of opening a second location, Bob Fish and his business partner Michael McFall, on a handshake and $3,000, decided to franchise the concept. BIGGBY COFFEE’s core values of B happy, have fun, make friends, love people and drink great coffee help coffee-lovers and the coffee-curious alike benefit from a less pretentious and fun approach to the standard gourmet café paradigm. Besides connoisseur-worthy drinks with pronounceable names like Teddy Bear and Caramel Marvel, BIGGBY baristas provide a unique experience focused on brightening their customer’s day. The “Big ‘B’” on the orange background caught on, and today BIGGBY COFFEE has 234 cafes open or under contract across nine states including: Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Florida and Texas.
