BIGGBY® COFFEE Announces New Name
East Lansing, MI, April 1, 2019–Throughout the months of April and May, BIGGBY® COFFEE will be making a concerted effort to call attention to the bee population. As they make more of an effort to feature honey in their drinks and food items, they’re excited to announce they’ve taken it one step further with the transition from BIGGBY® COFFEE to BIGGBEE® COFFEE.
With a purpose to exist to help support people in building a life they love, BIGGBEE® COFFEE felt this transition to be a natural and necessary one considering humans would not exist if it weren’t for bees. With so much dependence on bees for food and nutrition, BIGGBEE® COFFEE is eager to incorporate these vital components of human survival into their coffee shops throughout the nation.
“We felt that this was a necessary transition,” Vice President of Brand Jamie Stepanian-Bennett said. “Since we exist to love people, we felt it was only natural to honor the one species working daily for our survival. Without bees, we wouldn’t be serving the world’s best coffee!”
Customers can expect to see more honey food and drink items making their way into the coffee shops, including drinks like the Honey Lavender Latte and the Honey Cinnamon Vanilla Latte, as well as the Honey, Ham, and Cheddar Bragel.
As a conscious company, BIGGBEE® COFFEE puts equal importance on people, profit, and the planet. With this buzzworthy change, BIGGBEE® COFFEE hopes to call attention to this dying species and alert their customers of the need to make a determined effort to save this species.
To celebrate this change, BIGGBEE® COFFEE will be giving away items like honey sticks and seed packets for flowers that attract bees. Stay tuned for more information on these exciting giveaways in April and May!
