BIGGBY® COFFEE Introduces Aaron Marley—Charleston, SC Area Representative
East Lansing, MI, August 10, 2018–BIGGBY® COFFEE would like to take the opportunity to highlight one of their Area Representatives—Aaron Marley. Aaron is a multi-unit BIGGBY® COFFEE owner/operator servicing the Charleston, SC area with shops open in Summerville (opened in 2007), North Charleston (opened in 2011), and Goose Creek, SC (opened in 2014). Aaron joined the Area Representative (AR) Program in February of 2018.
The Marley family plans to develop 10 stores over the next 5 years in South Carolina through existing and new owner/operators. Further expansion plans are also in the works for the Columbia area, which is currently untapped. To meet this increasing demand, the Marley’s are also considering the newly launched B Cubed concept. B Cubed is a pre-fabricated drive-thru concept built in Alpena, MI, can be shipped anywhere in the U.S., and are designed to be placed in large parking lots, small undevelopable green space lots, or near malls in high traffic areas.
Aaron and his family have been with BIGGBY® for 11 years and when we asked Aaron about his biggest realization as a small business owner, his answer really spoke to the BIGGBY® value of ‘make friends’. “Overcoming adversity and learning how to handle an objection allows you to create a fanatic. These fanatics open up to you, feel comfortable, and then tell others about you…which creates new fanatics,” said Aaron. “We want to be there for our community and make them feel welcome. We’re their home away from home!”
When it comes to advancing as an AR, Aaron reminds himself to always have faith, confidence, and courage. “Pioneering a new territory is not an easy task. You get pushed over and kicked around but believing in myself has allowed me to always move forward,” said Aaron. “This is not a sprint it's a marathon and we’re in this for the long haul. We can’t wait to add more owner/operators to the BIGGBY® family and we’re on our way!”
