VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE BIGGBY STORE AND BARISTA OF THE YEAR!
Customer online voting starts June 1 with winners announced at company annual meeting in August
EAST LANSING, Mich., May 31, 2012 – Calling all BIGGBY fanatics, we want to hear from you! For the month of June, you can vote for your all-time favorite BIGGBY store and favorite BIGGBY barista by visiting: biggby.com/store and biggby.com/barista respectively, and telling us why you think each of your favorites should B named the best of the best!
Customers can include just a word or two, or even a lengthy novel, telling us why your nominations always put a smile on your face and help you improve your mood! Winners in each category will be recognized at the BIGGBY annual franchise meeting in August and will take home bragging rights, along with the highly coveted BIGGBY trophies to display in their stores.
Last year’s, “Store of the Year” winner was BIGGBY Fuller Ave. in Grand Rapids, Mich. and franchise owner Kathy Brooks and store operator, Ellen Jones. Brooks and Jones’ store most exemplified the all-around energy, ambiance, customer engagement and satisfaction needed to take home the 2011 award.
“Our customers are amazing and it was an absolute honor to be named Store of the Year,” Jones said. “It feels wonderful to know they enjoy coming to our location as much as we enjoy seeing them every day and with the growth of BIGGBY since then, there even more deserving stores out there this year.”
Nine BIGGBY baristas were also honored as finalists for the “My Favorite Barista” award, with Lansing-area barista, Marcy Powelson being selected as the 2011winner. Based on customer’s notes and stories, Powelson best exemplified the spirit and personality of BIGGBY and the B Happy brand!
