BIGGBY COFFEE OPENS 24-HOUR CAFE

Posted on January 9, 2009

It’s the Second Café for Detroit Medical Center Family of Hospitals

DETROIT, Mich., January 9, 2009 – East-Lansing based BIGGBY COFFEE will open a 24-hour café next week when the doors open at a new café inside the Children’s Hospital of Michigan.  The store, located at 3901 Beaubien Street, officially opens January 19.

The hours of operation are non-traditional, but otherwise the café offers the same signature coffee drinks, brewed coffees, teas and frozen beverages as it does at all BIGGBY COFFEE locations.

For franchisee Nick Moschouris, who opened his first BIGGBY at Detroit Receiving Hospital this summer, it’s all about great coffee delivered in a way that makes people smile.

“The Children’s Hospital is a great place for us to be,” said Moschouris. “It’s an opportunity for us to not only provide the hospital with gourmet specialty coffee, but to do it in a way that is convenient for staff and visitors.”
