Biggby Coffee Launches Mom & Tots Time

A new option exists for moms (and dads) looking for summer activities to take on with their little ones. Biggby Coffee’s Mom & Tots Time will combine coffee and crafts at the coffee chain's Bloomfield Township location.
Mom & Tots Time — the brainchild of Sam Kalous, a Biggby barista and mom of Jake, 6, and Mackenzie, 4 — kicked off June 20 and will continue from 10:30-11:30 a.m. every Monday throughout the summer.
“In the summer, I’m always looking for things to do with my kids,” said Kalous. “Mom & Tots Time gives moms a chance to get out of the house and enjoy a cup of coffee while their kids are being exposed to new books and exploring their creative side.”
The format of Biggby’s Mom & Tots Time will typically feature Kalous reading two stories to the children and then leading them in a craft.
