FAMILY ACHIEVES DREAM OF OPENING A BIGGBY® COFFEE

East Lansing, MI, March 26, 2019–BIGGBY® COFFEE is excited to announce the opening of a new coffee shop in Dayton, Ohio, on Tuesday, April 2.  This new coffee shop, at 418 Warren Street, will be the first in Dayton.  Located in a newly redeveloping area, BIGGBY® COFFEE is excited to bring the world’s best coffee to yet another city in the great State of Ohio.

While this is the first store for owner/operators Jeff and Laynae Meyer, they and their four children (Rylie age 19, Avery age 18, Raegan age 16, and Liam age 14), are no strangers to BIGGBY® COFFEE.  After Living in Grand Rapids, Michigan, for a decade, the Meyers’ quickly became BIGGBY® COFFEE Fanatics.

“My wife, my kids, and I were living in the Grand Rapids area for ten years,” said Jeff.  “We loved the environment [of BIGGBY® COFFEE], we loved the attitude, and we loved the quality.  When we decided to move back to Dayton, we promised ourselves we would bring BIGGBY® COFFEE with us.”

The entire Meyer family will be involved in the new store.  Their focus is making sure everyone in Dayton feels the love of BIGGBY® COFFEE and feels welcomed by BIGGBY® COFFEE’s friendly coffee community.  Located right behind the largest city-wide hospital in Dayton, they are conveniently located to do just that!

“We will be offering free brewed coffee to our first responders and will immediately start getting involved in the community,” said Jeff.

BIGGBY COFFEE features endless flavor combinations, with almost every drink available hot, iced, or frozen.  Customers are always made to feel welcome as soon as they step foot into the store with a greeting from an energetic barista, followed by a bright and cheerful smile while the customer orders a beverage of their own imagination.  There are many non-coffee options as well, such as teas and fruit- and juice-based creme freezes.  With a goal of encouraging each customer to bring a friend their next visit, BIGGBY® COFFEE offers a variety of options to meet each customer where they’re at in their day.
