BIGGBY® COFFEE is Opening a Brand New Location in Hillsdale, MI!
Hillsdale, MI, October 3, 2016–BIGGBY® COFFEE is excited to announce the Grand Opening of a brand new store in Hillsdale, MI on Tuesday, October 4, 2016! This brand new store is located at the corner of Carleton and Fayette and is connected to Hillsdale Market House (210 W. Carleton Rd Hillsdale, MI 49242). This is the first BIGGBY® location for owner/operators Brett and Brandy Boyd! “Having run our fourth generation grocery store for some time now, we’ve gotten to know the community and can’t wait to explore the coffee business with our already friendly customers! BIGGBY will be a great addition to the area and this is the perfect spot for Hillsdale to get their coffee fix!”
Brandy and Brett entered into the BIGGBY® world together and Brandy plans to spend much of her time behind the line with her manager, Kristen. “Kristen and I will both be in the store serving drinks on a regular basis and getting to know our customers,” says Brandy. “I love the customer service aspect of owning my own business and I have learned a lot of fun things about coffee so far in this new journey too!”
Because the Boyd’s are already business owners in Hillsdale, they are not new to the idea of community involvement. “In the past, BIGGBY® has sponsored our 4th of July fireworks show and that helped us get a taste of how giving the community of BIGGBY® owner/operators can be! We would love to continue to build relationships other business owners in the area and look forward to the partnerships that are made through the BIGGBY® value of ‘giving is getting’,” said Brandy.
Stop in and help the Boyd family celebrate the Grand Opening of their new BIGGBY® store! They will be open Monday through Saturday 6:00 am to 10:00 pm and Sunday 7:00 am to 10:00 pm. Brandy would like to offer up a drink suggestion when you visit the new store. “My new favorite drink is definitely a Cuddly Bear Latte! I love the blend of caramel, marshmallow and toffee nut flavors!”

One year later, and on the cusp of opening a second location, Michael McFall and Bob Fish, on a handshake and $4,000, decided to franchise the concept.
