BIGGBY COFFEE OPENING IN PETOSKEY MEIJER JULY 11TH
Location Marks First in City, Offers Week-long and Grand Opening Specials
PETOSKEY, MICH., July 1, 2011 – Petoskey residents will soon be able to get their groceries and their BIGGBY COFFEE fix at the same time! The East Lansing based gourmet coffee retailer will open its newest location on Monday, July 11th inside the Petoskey Meijer, located at 1201 Lears Rd. The location will celebrate its opening by offering drink specials all week long!

Owner/operator, Nick Spadafore has been a part of the BIGGBY COFFEE family for more than four years and also owns the Gaylord, MI location, about 30 miles south of Petoskey. “I wanted to bring BIGGBY farther into Northern Michigan and realized Petoskey would be a great fit,” he said. “I’m extremely happy to bring BIGGBY into its first Meijer because it’s a great opportunity for two Michigan based businesses to be housed under the same roof.”
Spadafore said he has been receiving an overwhelming positive response from the community since they first started to build out the store. “For months now, people here were saying how much they are looking forward to having a BIGGBY COFFEE in Petoskey. This is a wonderful community to live in and a great destination in Michigan.”
The café will offer the full BIGGBY COFFEE menu including, brewed coffee, specialty lattes, tea lattes, frozen drinks, Creme Freeze Smoothies and more! Hours of operation will be 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.
“The location will be very convenient and it will be great to see shoppers carrying around their BIGGBY cups throughout the store,” Spadafore said. “We offer something for everyone including non-coffee drinkers. I’m looking forward to not only introducing BIGGBY to those who have not tried it before, but to get to know all the BIGGBY COFFEE fanatics already here in town.”
