BIGGBY COFFEE Comes to Mount Pleasant Location

Mount Pleasant, Mich., February 13, 2008 – BIGGBY COFFEE ®, the leading East Lansing, Mich.-based coffee retailer is opening its first location in Mount Pleasant on Tuesday, February 19. The 1,800 square-foot store, featuring a comfortable seating area and fireplace, is located at 4445 E Bluegrass Rd, and is offering free brewed coffee all week long in celebration of its grand opening
BIGGBY COFFEE® has grown significantly since its inception in East Lansing slightly more than 10 years ago. The alluring combination of signature coffee drinks, free wireless internet access, warming fireplaces and plentiful soft seating—all standard BIGGBY COFFEE® options—have created a growing loyal customer base. The retailer currently has 87 stores up and running and an additional 62 under development across nine states.
The Mount Pleasant store is open Monday through Saturday 6 a.m.-12 a.m. and Sunday 7 a.m.-12 a.m. The high traffic location—directly across the street from Wal-Mart and next door to Image Sun tanning salon—makes it easy to spot from the road. Its convenient drive-thru also makes it an easy stop for those on the go.
This is the first BIGGBY COFFEE® location for franchisee Mike Densmore, but it’s not his first experience with a franchise system. “I feel lucky to be the one bringing the BIGGBY experience to Mount Pleasant,” said Densmore. “BIGGBY is a true representation of what a brand should be because its customers really seek out the stores instead of settling for just any coffee.”
In addition to the free brewed coffee it will offer in its first week, the Mount Pleasant location will offer a select variety coffee on the morning of Tuesday, February 19.
